American tourist gang raped in India

An American tourist has allegedly been raped by a truck driver and two other men after accepting a lift on Monday night. The incident took place in Manali, approximately 500 kilometres from New Delhi. Medical tests have confirmed the rape. Read more.

Judge accepts insanity plea

A judge has accepted James Holmes’ plea of not guilty by insanity in his trial for killing 12 people and wounding dozens more during a movie screening in Colorado last year.
