Kenyan forces take control

The Kenyan government has taken control of the Nairobi mall that has been held up by militants for days. The military now allegedly has control of the whole building, however is remaining cautious. Harris appears in London court

Australian entertainer Rolf Harris has appeared in a London court, facing 13 charges including indecent assault. No official plea was entered however Harris’ lawyer has indicated that he is likely to plead not guilty. ABC News has more.

Concordia captain blames helmsman

The captain of the Costa Concordia, the recently salvaged ship that capsized off Italy’s coast, has blamed the Indonesian helmsman for the accident. Francesco Schettino says he wanted to slow the ship down, but the helmsman did not follow orders. News.com.au has the full story.

Prince Harry to visit Down Under
