Tiptoeing through...
26 Oct 2022
Nineteen members of Coogee Probus Club recently went on a three-day tour of Bowral and the Highlands to help celebrate the Tulip Festival.
Most travelled by train, which was a very pleasant journey. They stayed at a fabulous place called The Bundanoon Guest House. There members were warmly welcomed and looked after by hosts Lucie and Timm and a great time was had by all. They even managed to circumnavigate the dodgy weather.
The Club would highly recommend the Bundanoon Guest House as an ideal location for Probus groups. The accommodation is excellent, and the food and service were beyond expectations. There is also a lot to do in the area – they hired a bus locally and visited many places of interest including:
- Ngununggula Art Gallery
- The Cheese factory
- Retford House Tour
- Red Cow Farm
Many thanks to Sue, the Club’s events organiser, and the tour’s guardian angel, Phillipa, who looked after everyone so well. Can’t wait for the next trip away!
