Life memberships at Attadale

Earlier this year, the Combined Probus Club of Attadale presented the first ever life membership certificates to Laurie and Jean Holmes in recognition of their loyal and dedicated service in the promotion of Probus.
Laurie was the club's inaugural president from October 1998 to March 2000 and set the foundation stones for the success it is today. Jean was at Laurie's side during this time and also served on the management committee ensuring the club had interesting speakers at each monthly general meeting.
Sincere thanks go to them both for the effort they put in the early days and we hope they can now enjoy the fruits of their labour and although it is difficult for them to attend our general meetings, they often participate in other activities, especially our luncheons and dinners.
