A history lesson for the Combined Probus Club of Leeming
27 Feb 2015
Several members of the Combined Probus Club of Leeming enjoyed a three-day trip to Albany, where they visited some fascinating sights along the way.
After the first day, with members arriving after a long drive in very wet conditions, things improved and the sun was shining again by the end of their stay.
Highlights included a visit to the heritage-listed Cheynes Beach Whaling Station, the new and stunning Albany Entertainment Centre and witnessing the preparations for Centenary of WWI troops departing from Albany at Mt Clarence Monument Hill and Mt Adelaide.
