Devonshire Tea and a visit to the Museum

The Tilligerry Peninsula Combined Probus Club Inc. had their AGM on March 14 were there was a change of office. The new President – Margaret White, Vice President - Kevin Towler, Secretary - Elizabeth Carloss, Treasurer - Cynthia Rogers and Public Officer - Lyn Mason. All other positions on the Committee were filled as were the Volunteer positions.
There were four new members inducted and one member received her 10 yr pin. The sporting activities are well attended and a recent Theatre outing was to see ‘Evita’ at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle.
The most recent outing was to the Nelson Bay Heritage Lighthouse Cottage and Reserve were members enjoyed a Devonshire Tea prior to visiting the Museum and an interesting talk from Harold Gibson at the Marine Radio Base.
