North Launceston Ladies’ Probus Club recently celebrated its birthday with a luncheon and special hat competition.
Members wore hats and were judged in three sections: Fancy, Silly and Probus.
Winner of Fancy Hat was Ros Digney, winner of Silly Hat was Jan Storay, and winner of Probus Hat was Doreen Malley.
Two long-term members, Mary Dadson and Denise Fletcher, were presented with Certificates of Appreciation for their work within the Club and the many positions they have held in the Management Committee.
