"Christmas" in July at Seabird Tavern

The Booragoon Men's Club and the Booragoon Ladies' Club have now achieved quite a successful history of combined outings.
On July 13, another enjoyable function was added to the list when members and partners from both clubs embarked on a luxury coach tour to Seabird.
Seabird is a pretty coastal town/village situated North of Perth between Yanchep and Lancelin and the highlight of the trip was a Christmas style lunch at the Seabird Tavern.
On the way to the destination, a stop was made for morning tea at Lake Joondalup which is home to much wildlife including many birds. The participants had nothing but praise for the lunch which was served at the Seabird Tavern. The only complaint noted was that there was too much to eat.
On the way back, a tour was undertaken of recent developments in the Yanchep area. The extent of changes which had been made amazed the group.
