Rhys Lewis, foundation president, was awarded life membership of the Combined Probus Club of Balnarring in recognition of his unstinting contribution to the establishment of the club and his wise and humorous counsel.
President Graeme Summers presented Rhys with his life membership certificate.
The club will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year.
