Oh, what a night!
17 Dec 2019
Thursday, September 12 found 120 Probians and friends from across four Top End-based Probus Clubs coming together for a wonderful night of friendship, frivolity and lots of fun.
Many thanks to all the organisers, Darwin Golf Club for a great venue and dinner; Top End Sounds for the sound system and lighting and SignCity for the Probus “car” (pictured).
And a special thank you to the Clubs for providing the night’s entertainment, which ranged from contributions by Patrons Kezia Purich MLA and Kate Worden MLA; Probus Club of Darwin with “7 Little Girls”, John Scott with a poem “Bush Christening”, Probus Club of Palmerston with “Jack and the Beanstalk”; Probus Club of Charles Darwin with “Cinderella” and a poem “Fifty Shades of Grey” plus much much more.
Everyone who attended, as well as the staff from the venue, had a thoroughly enjoyable night and, as they were leaving, asked when the next revue would be!
