King Richard III’s remains have been found underneath a car park after more than 500 years. Meanwhile, in Australia, fears are rising over tuberculosis transmission in the far north.
Richard III’s body found
King Richard III’s remains have been found under a car park in England’s East Midlands, more than 500 years after his death. DNA from the bones matches those of his descendants, and the twisted spine of the skeleton and battle injuries are consistent with those of the king. The ABC has more.
Arrest over car wash murder
A woman has been arrested and charged over the shooting of Adrian Paul MacDonald at a car wash in Parafield over the weekend. It is alleged that the two knew each other. Adelaide Now has more.
Fears over rise of tuberculosis
