Undoolya Station
08 Nov 2012
Twenty-one members of the Probus Club of Stuart – Alice Springs travelled to Undoolya Station recently.
As the oldest working station in the Northern Territory, it has been in the Hayes family since 1907. The previous owners built the property in 1872. It is 144,000 hectares and is named after the Aboriginal word meaning shadow.
Members were treated to a scrumptious morning tea, generously provided by the Hayes family and an informative talk on the history of the Undoolya Station.
