Disaster relief

Probus South Pacific Limited (PSP) extends its heartfelt wishes and concerns to all those members, families and friends affected by the recent devastating bushfires in the Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, Newcastle and surrounds.

It is heartbreaking to hear of the loss of more than 200 homes.

Whilst the Probus organisation is not a fundraising organisation and as such cannot raise funds to assist in disaster relief, individuals are encouraged to support reputable charities. PSP suggests contacting your sponsoring Rotary club to see what help can be offered through their programs of assistance and relief. 

Clubs may, by resolution of their members, donate monies from their general funds to assist disaster relief.

Our support is given to the volunteer and fire emergency workers fighting the wall of fire that endangers lives, homes and livestock. 

The recovery and relief programs will be long and difficult – give hope, give encouragement and give your support to those men, women and children affected.
