Monk-ing around
26 Sep 2017
On a cold and foggy day, 30 members of the Combined Probus Club of Cooleman ventured to St Clement's Monastery.
They made a brief stop en route in the quaint town of Binalong, before arriving in Galong just in time for a delicious lunch at the Monastery.
Located in NSW, just an hour from Canberra's city centre, the monastery dates back to the 1820s and boasts large grounds and striking buildings.
The group enjoyed a tranquil and informative afternoon, wandering through the expansive gardens and visiting the historic cemetery.
