Going wild
22 Jan 2019
Probus members from diverse branches such as Busselton, Northam, Mundaring, Gosnells and the northern suburbs all had a day out at Perth Zoo.
After an amazingly easy trip from Madeley by bus, train and bus again, the group alighted at the zoo’s main entrance to a friendly greeting, and a bag of goodies, from Marie Bolt and Jenny McCaughnan, who had organised the day.
The zoo had provided the group with a cordoned-off area at the edge of the Main Lawn under a heritage tennis shelter amply supplied with tables and chairs. They also had their own electric zebra vehicle, with a zoo driver/guide to take the group effortlessly to see highlights.
