Celebrating eight years and new leadership

The Glen Waverley Combined Probus Club celebrated its eighth birthday last month. Members enjoyed a birthday cake with coffee at their morning tea.

Eighty-eight members attended the General Meeting, and all stayed on for the Annual General Meeting after indulging in coffee and cake. The announcement that all Committee positions for the 2024-2025 term had been filled was met with delight. The new Committee was then presented to the members.

Following the Committee introductions, current President David inducted Janet as the new President. Janet expressed her gratitude to the outgoing Committee members and highlighted the positive blend of experienced and new members, ensuring the club's continued success.

Forty members capped off the day with a celebratory lunch at the Mountain View Hotel.
