30th birthday celebrations

Everyone at the Attadale Men’s Probus Club’s 30th anniversary lunch agreed that it was a well organised and happy occasion where the bonds of personal friendships were enhanced and the organisation’s foundations reinforced.
Outings officer Leon Watermeyer acted as MC and President Peter Ahrens welcomed the Mayor of Melville, Russell Aubrey.
Past President Neville Gilbert spoke of the club’s history and made particular mention of the fact that foundation member, Les Skelton, was present at the lunch.
President Peter presented a 30-year membership certificate to Les Skelton, foundation member, and one for 25 years to John Stonehouse. The current treasurer and former outings officer, Kevin O’Brien, became the 17th club member to receive a certificate of appreciation for significant service.
