A great week away at Canton Beach

The Probus Club of Port Stephens Cara Camper group of 40 has just returned from a great week away at Canton Beach on the central coast. Leader Judy Papas organized many activities and this enthusiastic mob didn’t let a bit of rain put a dampener on proceedings.
A very enjoyable cruise on Brisbane Waters, cheese & chocolate factories, trivia, botanic gardens and big Aussie breakfast where everyone was fined by the “Fine Witch” for misdemeanors committed throughout the week; nobody escaped! The Canton Beach Cup was run with great hilarity and the yearly boule’ competition was hotly contested. Leon Lindsay and George Hammond won the guy’s pairs and Meryl Miller and Ann Gibson did a lap of honour after winning the ladies. They were just a little bit excited.
Mr. Bean made a special appearance at the boule’ and Michael Hutchence at the trivia; don’t ask!!
