Magnificent murals

June 9 saw members of the Probus Club of South Bunbury venture to Wellington Dam and stopped for lunch at the Collie Federal Hotel.

As can be seen, from the photos, members had a great time checking out the murals at the dam just before it rained and saw the smaller ones in the Collie town itself. A favourite Collie Mural was the horse and men coming out of a mine.

Members also saw from the fence the open-pit coal mining. It was huge and you couldn’t see the end of the pit, it was so big.

All in all, everyone had a great time during this outing.
