Award for Burleigh Heads member

Burleigh Heads Ladies Probus Club member Roberta Cava has been honoured with a McPherson Community Achiever Award for 2013 for her contribution to the local community.

Roberta Cava has been a member of the Burleigh Heads Ladies Probus Club for many years. Recently, she was honoured by Karen Andrews MP, Federal Member for McPherson, for her voluntary contribution to her local community and received a McPherson Community Achiever Award for 2013. 

Roberta has been a very active member of Crime Stoppers Gold Coast Volunteer Area Committee for two and a half years, acting as its secretary.

She undertakes many talks for Probus and Rotary Clubs, explaining what Crime Stoppers is all about and encouraging community members to participate in the anonymous crime solving and prevention service.
