New club in Castle Hill

The Rotary Club of Castle Hill has sponsored a new Probus club to reduce the long waiting lists for membership in the Hills district. 

The new Castle Hill and District Probus Club held its foundation meeting recently. The club is now registered with Probus South Pacific Limited and will meet at Castle Hill Bowling Club on the first Tuesday of each month.

The club was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Castle Hill to meet the need in the area, where existing clubs had been maintaining long waiting lists for membership. The club will provide regular opportunities for members to keep their minds active, expand their interests and enjoy fun, fellowship and friendship.

Present at the foundation meeting were Rotary Club of Castle Hill President Paul Robinson; Castle Hill and District Probus Club President Adele House, Secretary Jan Caldwell, Treasurer Bill Joyner, Vice President Terry O’Mara and Junior Vice President Margaret Ashfield; and PSP Chairman Gary Blackler.
