Supermarket chain Aldi has recalled a controversial Australia Day t-shirt from its range following an outcry on social media. The t-shirt, emblazoned with the slogan ‘Australia Est. 1788’, sparked numerous comments on Twitter, forcing Aldi to apologise on the social media site and to withdraw the line. English cricketers save a man’s life

Two English cricketers, Matt Prior and Stuart Broad, have been hailed heroes after talking a man down from a ledge and contacting police. Prior and Broad spotted the man on the Pyrmont Bridge, approached him and after successfully bringing him off the edge, stayed with him until police arrived. Seven News has more.

Target employee cracks kidnapping case

A Target employee in the US has helped save a kidnapped girl after noticing the alleged kidnapper’s odd behaviour and taking down his numberplate.
