Members enjoy a perfect February evening Walkie-Talkie
17 Mar 2017
Thirty members of The Probus Club of Attadale, Perth, and partners enjoyed a perfect February evening Walkie-Talkie at Point Walter on the Swan River.
It was not too hot and there was a gentle breeze. The club’s popular and long standing monthly Walkie-Talkie is held in the morning normally but switches to the evening during the hotter summer months.
It consists of a get-together for coffee, followed by a walk and a picnic. As on this occasion, there is always something to interest and stimulate. Members had fascinating discussions with anglers catching (and releasing) tailor fish for research, and on the extraordinary world of the often beautifully coloured nudibranch, sometimes more prosaically known as the sea slug.
