Report released over Olympic toxic culture
The independent Bluestone Review was released yesterday, slamming a toxic culture in Australia’s swimming team at the London Olympic games. The report found a number of incidents including peer intimidation, hazing and abuse of prescription drugs. Read more on the ABC.
Help for Hep C patients
Two new drugs have been listed on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. Doctors believe this could double the number of people cured of hepatitis C. The drugs could also halve the duration of treatment for people with a certain type of Hep C. Read more.
Trawler stuck for another day
The stranded trawler off Cronulla will be there for another day as the attempt to float it off the rocks at high tide this morning failed. Salvage crews now have to wait until high tide tomorrow. Sydney Morning Herald has the full story.

Eight thieves, toting machine guns and disguised as police officers, have made off with over $60 million worth of diamonds from Brussels airport. It was all over in a matter of minutes after the gang drove through the perimeter fence of the airport. The ABC has more.
