Ladies and gentlemen

The Men's Club of Booragoon in Western Australia was delighted when the Ladies' Club of Booragoon extended an invitation to them to enjoy a wonderful lunch at the Crown Casino recently.
For the grand sum of $10 per head, we were treated to a luxury coach return trip and an excellent buffet meal at Carvers restaurant. It was $3 extra to play on the pokies and a Keno ticket. It was excellent value, assuming that one was a sensible gambler, and indeed, one didn't need to gamble at all if not so inclined.
We did not notice anyone returning minus their shirt, but then there was no request for an armed escort on the return either.
The day proved to be a great success.
