Our meeting place – Southern Community Centre, Mulgrave.
Our General Meetings are held between 09.45 am and finish at 12.00 noon
........on the LAST Tuesday of each month,
except December. (No meeting in December).
(The time slot also allows us time for a popular short pre meeting chit chat!)
Meetings are held at the Southern Community Centre Hall at 27 Rupert Dr. Mulgrave.
The first part of the meeting format includes the planning of a variety of activities, birthday celebrations and light entertainment. This is followed by a guest speaker on a topical interesting subject. Members are also invited to join in and socialise at an after meeting lunch.
Our elected committee members also meet, in private homes, on the first Tuesday of the month! Management issues and activities are discussed at these meetings.
Members (and visitors) to club meeting can either:
- By car. If coming via Police Rd to Rupert Dr there are two 2 options.
1) Via Huxley Ave, left at the roundabout into Handsworth St and then left into Rupert Dr.
2) Via Withers Ave, Right into Nash Dr and then right into Rupert Dr.
- By bus. 631, 813, 814 and 848 all have a stop within a short walk of hall.
681, 691, 850 and 862 visit Waverley Gardens S/C. A 15 min walk away!
