History
The inaugural meeting of the Men’s Probus Club of Toorak Gardens was held on 8th March 1988 at the Burnside Community Centre. The club was formed under the auspices of the Rotary Club of Glen Osmond, when the Probus Club of Burnside and the Probus Club of Glen Osmond were both oversubscribed.
Our club is the 885th Probus Club in the South Pacific.
For more than thirty years the club has been led by a new President each year - an indication of the vitality of the club and its members who come from a wide variety of occupations and backgrounds.
With over 350 club meetings we continue to provide fellowship and an interesting speaker at our meetings - sometimes challenging, but always informative and entertaining.
We have an active committee providing a range of functions and activities outside our monthly meetings for those seeking additional interests, exercise and outings.
