HISTORY

The initial meeting to consider the formation of a Probus Club on Tamborine Mountain was called for 16 February 1983. The meeting agreed that a Tamborine Mountain Probus Club be formed and the necessary procedures were commenced.

The second meeting on the 16th March was the deadline for acceptance of foundation members.

The club thus began active operations with guest speakers, trips and a club newsletter.

 

 

                                 ACCREDITATION

The Club received its Accreditation Certificate from the Probus Centre – South Pacific (now Probus South Pacific Limited) on 31 December 1985.

 The Club operates under the Probus Constitution and closely follows the recommended guidelines of Probus South Pacific Limited.

 The Club was incorporated under the Queensland Associations Incorporation Act 1981 on 13 April 1987 (Certificate 2631).
