St Clair Probus Club, is a brand-new not-for-profit club with an aim to provide fun, friendship and socialisation for retired men and women in our community.
The club was formed after an interest meeting held at Cook Parade Neighbourhood Centre, St Clair, on 16th September 2024. At that meeting, some eighty people came out to learn more. Of those eighty people, 49 signed up for membership and even though we hadn’t held our first general meeting, 2 more have applied for membership.
After our first General Meeting, held 21st October 2024, 11 more people signed up for membership. This proves that such a club is certainly needed in the area and the potential for another twenty members, although an exciting thought, means we may well be looking for a new venue starting in the new year.
We have made enquiries and are confident that the new venue offered will fulfill our needs.
