Interest Groups - All welcome.

Book Club meets on the 2nd Tuesday of months February to November, 10.00 a.m. at Wheller Gardens Cafe, Off The Boulevard at Wheller Gardens, Chermside. Contact Del LeB or Joan B.   Next meeting: Tuesday, 11th February 2025. 

Craft Group meets on the 2nd Thursday of months February to November, 9.30 a.m.   at Rosetta's Cafe, Stafford City Shopping Centre.  Contact Judy Catts.  Next meeting:  Thursday, 13th February 2025.

*New* Men's Group - ROMEOS - Retired Old Men Enjoying Ourselves  meets on the 2nd Thursday of months February to November.  The next meeting will be on Thursday 13th February 2025, 9.30 a.m. at The Coffee Club in Stafford City Shopping Centre.  Contact:  Lyndley Northcott.    Meeting on 13th March 2025 will be at the Qld Telecommunications Museum, Ortel Road, Clayfield.

November 2024

Thursday 21st November:  City Cat ride, Brisbane River.  10.34 a.m - Start at City Cat terminal, Northshore Hamilton for a trip up river to see the many changes  to the city.  We will do the entire City Cat route and then come back to the Regatta Hotel for lunch at 12.30 p.m. (Own cost).  City Cat is free for seniors.  It runs every 15 minutes for the return trip to Northshore.  Leader:  Elaine Neilson-Scott. 

December 2024

Monday 2nd December & Tuesday 3rd December:  Lord Mayor's Christmas Concert.  9.00 a.m at City Hall.  Doors open 9.15 a.m. for morning tea, concert starts at 10.00 a.m.  Book now if interested as tickets are limited . We will keep a waiting list. If you are booked to go and can't make it on the day, please let Margaret know.  Leader:  Margaret Spiller.

Thursday 12th December:  Stafford Probus Christmas Lunch at Ashgrove Golf Club's Zegato Restaurant, 863 Waterworks Road, The Gap.  11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.  Cost for lunch is $55.00, drinks at own cost. Book and pay by end of November.  Wear a bit of Christmas cheer and get into the spirit.  There will be prizes.  Lead:  June Sakjewski.   

Thursday 19th: 4.30 p.m. Christmas Drinks and Dinner at Kedron-Wavell Services Club "Kitchen Restaurant", 21 Kitty Hawk Drive, Chermside.  (Own cost).  Please show on attendance sheet if staying for dinner.  Book by 5th December.  Leader:  Linda Lawes.

January 2025

Thursday 23rd January:  10.30 a.m. to 12.30 a.m.  Probus Morning Tea at Arana Leagues Club. Book by 5th December 2024.  First event of the year and no cost.  Leader:  Linda Lawes.

February 2025

Thursday 20th February:  9.30 a.m.  Crazy Cards at Gaythorne Bowls Club.  Cost is $10.00.  We will have morning tea first, then the fun begins - no experience needed.  Just come along and have a lovely morning.  Pay by 6th February.  Leader:  Margaret Spiller.
