“Noarlunga East Probus Club was established in 1983 as a men only club.  As there was another Noarlunga Club for men, membership was falling off so it was decided to invite ladies to join.   On 18th March 1992 the club was accredited & registered as the Morphett Vale Probus Club Inc. which is now a combined club welcoming  both men and women.  The first lady President took office in 1991 & since that time the club has alternated between lady & gentlemen Presidents which has proved very successful.  Even though beginning as a mens only club the female members outnumber the men so are vital for the ongoing success of The Morphett Vale Probus Club.  Members pride themselves on including visitors & prospective new members & upholding the Probus policy of friendship, fellowship and fun.”
