Third Wednesday of each month: The date of our monthly meetings. We meet for about 1/2 an hour for business and reports before brealomg for morning tea. We are then joined by a speaker for the second half of the morning. Several members get together at a nearby restaurant after the meeting and enjoy lunch together.
First Monday of the month: Monthly bus or car trip to either the city or venues close to Melbourne.
Second Monday of each month: A group of members meet at a nearby coffee venue for a catchup and chat.
Thursday (day after our general meeting) a group of singers get together and perform some songs at our December meeting.
Monday following our General Meeting: "Happy Hour" is enjoyed at a member's home.
Thursday of the week following General Meeting: Games Afternoon at member's home.
Second and Fourth Wednesdays of each month: Our Square Dancing group meets on these days. New dancers are most welcome. It's an easy activity and good exercise.
September-November: Around this time we have our weekly trip away. We have been to Adelaide and the Murray River on "Proud Mary"; to Tumut, Cooma, Wentworth and Warrnambool. We have also been to Merimbula. These trips are good fun and a chance to get to know members.
Every Friday: A group of members meet near the Lilydale Lake for a short walk and cuppa.
Theatre trips are also arranged during the year.
