MOVIE OUTING - Wednesday 29th October

Me, Myself and I saw "Springsteen - Deliver Me From Nowhere" a very interesting story of Bruce
Springsteen's early life. There was only myself and another gentlemen in the theatre.
Afterwards, Jenny met me at the Skybar restaurant for an enjoyable dinner and catchup.

OUR NEXT MOVIE OUTING WILL BE- TUESDAY 2nd December – Movie and time

This will be the last movie date for the year.

BREAKFAST/BRUNCH @ RUNAWAY SPOON CAFÉ – MONDAY 3rd NOVEMBER

A cosy group of five met on Monday, November 3rd at The Runaway Spoon in Lindfield to share a cuppa and a chin wag. We did our best to solve the problems of the world, but merely managed to discuss them. It’s always a pleasure to spend a morning with friends chatting and sharing a breakfast or mid-morning coffee. Our next coffee morning will be on Monday December 1st at 9:45 am, again at The Runaway Spoon. Please join us next time!

MELBOURNE CUP AFTERNOON – TUESDAY 4th NOVEMBER

21 of us gathered at the beautiful home of Bruce and Diane Comley for an afternoon together watching the Melbourne Cup, enjoying a wonderful spread of delicious nibbles and a glass or two of our favourite drinks. It was a beautiful day so we were able to spill out onto the deck overlooking Roseville golf course – a perfect location!
Three sweeps were run which made it more fun to watch. It was a wonderful afternoon of chatting together and watching the race. Thank you very much Bruce and Diane for opening your home to us and thank you to all those who came along - you all helped make it a fun day.
