2021 - Coffee Morrning in the Wollongong Botanic Gardens We meet 10.30 inside the Murphy St gate, [Mar 4th, May 6th, July 1st, Sep 2, Nov 4th] on alternate Thursdays to the Computer / Technology Group.
Group members have the opportunity to have a chat, find and share common interests and gain new friendships while with a tea or coffee before lunch.

Our day trip/outings are some time local but Sydney provides a wider variety of opportunity. We usually travel on public transport to visit a range of cultural, historical sites, art museums and gardens. See photos below.

Our train leaves W/gong 9.07,N/gong 9.09, arrives Wolli Creek 10.24, go to platform 1 (one ) 10.48 Museum station, Then our guided tour by our own Ian Hallenan of the Pool of Reflection. We then have lunch 12.30 befor returning home.

Central to Randwick
Our Train leaves Wollongong Stn 9.37, Nth Gong 9.39, arriving Central 11.05 Coffee or comfort stop - then short walk to the light rail station for 12.00pm To Randwick, for a $10 lunch at the Royal Hotel or coffee/lunch of your choice - Then at 1.00pm return to Central to catch the 2.23pm train to Wollongong arriving Back home about 4.00pm. (PS.We travel in the 2nd carrage from the front.)

This will be our first day outing for the year and it will be a street walk in Stanwell Park. We start our day on the bus 9.34am Leaving Flinders St Nth Wollongon, 9.41am Fairymeadow outside the Post Office We arrive at the railway Station Stanwell Park 10.22 then a 7min walk to beach and morning tea/Coffee. Lunch at 12.00. befor returning on the 1.00pm bus, arrive Nth Wollongong 1.48pm

May 23rd - This month we visit the Men's shed at Mt Keira Scout Camp to enjoy the rainforest walk tracks,the Chapel, The Glen, the Lodge, the Club Lair and much more including a gourmet sausage sizzle. Wives/partners are welcome.(There will be a cost of $5 per head to cover lunch costs).
October 18th - The possible destination will be - A lunch outing at Scarborough Hotel, Stanwell Park Lunch, Kembla memorial Track and hotel for lunch, or Kiama Leagues for lunch. This will be agreed upon at this months meeting.

August 23rd Today we travel by train to Berry togo for a short stroll befor lunch then return mid afternoon.
July 16th This will be our Birthday Luncheon. A time to enjoy the company of partners and friends, fine food and maybe a social sip.
VIVID 2018
- On WEDNESDAY MAY 30Wollongong Probus has organized a coach to leave Wollongong at 4.30pm;
- arrive at Circular Quay in time for early dinner at an establishment of your choice;
- view the light show along Circular Quay waterfront and in the Botanic Gardens.
- return to Wollongong by 10- 10.30pm.
- They have booked a 37 seat Premier coach and already have 18 goers. They are hoping to find 19 more.
- The cost per person is $26
