Wednesday 19th November – A day out on the City Cat
(NOTE Date)
We travel up- river towards the University of Queensland from the Cultural Centre, then continue down river to the terminal at New Farm, where we shall disembark to have lunch at Merthyr Bowls Club. You will need to make your own way. There is a short walk at New Farm. If you wish, you can disembark back at the Cultural Centre and not go to lunch. The only cost will be for the 50 cent ferry rides and for lunch. Need to pre-order lunch. Menu will be at front desk. No need to pay yet. Meet at 10.15am in front of the “Big Wheel” at Southbank.

December 10th – Christmas Party. –

Fay McLean, Carol Hughes and Maureen O’Connor. Ken and Kay will not be available until the actual date.
. Entertainment starts at 12.30pm till 1.30pm and members should arrive at 11.30am so that first part of lunch commence at 12md. Therefore, the proposed outline of the day would be as follows :-
11.30am arrival. 12 first course of lunch. 12.30 till 2pm entertainment. 2pm sweets
Members to be charged $50.00 for a 3 - course meal and entertainment.
Kay has applied for Christmas Party grant. Also, she has been able to get 8 tickets to the Lord Mayor’s Senior’s Christmas Concert for the 5th of December and will try to get some more.
