Probus Greenbank had their first meeting on 21st August, 2025, with Peter Richens becoming President, Sue Nielsen as Secretary and Jennifer Jackman, Treasurer. With these three roles being filled, we were therefore able to officially form a club.

The first three meetings were held at the Greenbank Community Hall but we found it was getting quite warm in the hall (as there was no airconditioning) so we decided to look elsewhere. Pub Lane Tavern was suggested and on speaking with Luke, the manager, he offered us an area in the Sports Bar that could accommodate us. It is airconditioned, has a projector, tea and coffee supplied (at a small fee), and gives us a $50 food voucher as a door prize. To top it off, he very kindly said he would not charge us for the use of the area. 

Our first meeting there will be held on the 20th November, so I will update this post later.
