About 30 intrepid walkers met in the Badgers Weir reserve and had a delightful walk up to the Weir, follow by a BBQ.
Amongst the serene trees and tree ferns were lots of birds including rosellas, king parrots and kookaburras. A pair of lyre birds was spotted by some of the walkers.
