Our regular activities include –

Sydney Walkers – held on fourth Monday in the month, except December and January. Exploring all parts of Sydney and nearby, at the maximum cost of a $2.50 Opal Card fee. Our walks are well-planned, often pre-walked, not unreasonably difficult for most people, with printed historical, environmental or cultural notes.

Coach and Train Outings – our regular annual outings include Doyles Watsons Bay, with other recent outings to NSWFR Fire Museum of Fire, Mt Annan Gardens and Research Centre, Quarantine Station, and Manly Wharf Hotel lunch.

Tours and Holidays – recent holidays have included Barrier Reef Cruise, Hawaii Islands cruise, Murray River Cruise, Lightning Ridge Tour, Adelaide and Barossa Valley tour returning on the Indian Pacific via Broken Hill.

Bowls – held on the first Monday morning each month, except December and January, at South Cronulla Bowling Club, with bbq lunch.

Golf three matches are played against South Cronulla Probus through the year, usually at Cronulla, Woolooware and The Ridge golf courses, with a final Club Champion event with lunch to follow. Social golf starting in 2019.

Cycling, The Chain Gang – first Thursday every month, this is leisure cycling, to be enjoyed, not for the serious cyclists with more than one set of lycra!

Bushwalking, The Bushwackers – most months but not December and January, aimed at mid-range walkers, with no high difficulty walks selected.

Kayaking – most months, the specific date may depend on the tides. BYO kayak or we hire from Woronora Boatshed, Audley Boatshed (no BYO), or Bundeena Kayaks. Leisure pace.

Guest Speakers – interesting guest speakers, every month, all entertaining, some serious, some cerebral, some inspiring, all to be enjoyed.

Annual Adventure -  an annual surprise adventure. Recent adventures include go-karting, white-water rafting and treetop ziplining.

Fun lunches, at reasonable prices – annual BBQ, Christmas Lunch, Christmas in July lunch, and two Ladies Day lunches each year.

Theatre, shows – once or twice a year we will have a theatre or show event, such as the Australian Tenors’ ‘Power of Love’ show and Jesus Christ Superstar.

And we have more coming!
