Guest speakers
Our Guest Speaker Coordinator seeks out interesting and memorable guest speakers - topics range from the speakers' personal experiences to accounts of interesting historical figures.
On 24 April Joe David, a volunteer at Taronga Park Zoo and member of the Board will come and talk about the zoo.
Recent guest speakers included:
- on 27 March members of the NSW Fire and Rescue gave an interesting and useful talk about safety measures and the need for working smoke alarms
- On 27 February Dr Clarence Fernandes, PhD, Retired Principal Hospital Scientist RNSH talked to us about the treatment of various infections and antibiotics developed to treat them
