The Probus Club of Coomera Valley was founded in 1993 and its first meeting was held on 8 September 1993. At the annual general meeting held on 9 March 1994 a new Constitution was adopted for an incorporated club and 'Inc' was added to the name.

The first President of the Club was Doris Gibbs OAM.

The Club has a maximum membership of 90 members.

The Club has had a speaker at most of its meeting since 1993 and has organised activities and outings for its members nearly every month. Every monthly meeting of our Club has been held in the Holy Rood Family Centre which as an ideal venue and also provides safe storage for the Club's equipment.

The current President is Paula Clohesy.
