Britain farewells Margaret Thatcher
The Queen led mourners at the ceremonial funeral for the first ever female British prime minister. While most of those who had gathered at St Paul’s Cathedral in London applauded as Thatcher’s coffin passed by, some turned their backs in protest. US Senate blocks additional background checks on gun buyers
