St Marys members tour ABC

Members from St Marys recently toured the ABC studios at Collinswood, getting a good look at the inner workings of ABC Classic FM.
The Probus Club of St Marys (Combined) recently enjoyed a guided tour of the ABC Collinswood Centre. The tour included visits to various broadcasting studios for both radio and television, the ABC recorded music library, and the concert hall.
Highlights of the tour included a briefing by popular breakfast show co-host David Bevan, joining Ian Henschke during his regular morning show and meeting with Stephen Watkins in the home studio for ABC Classic FM.
Members were impressed by the knowledge and enthusiasm of their two excellent tour guides as well as the warm, friendly response received from all of the ABC staff members who helped to make the tour a great success.
After the tour many members enjoyed lunch at the Buckingham Arms Hotel.
