Probus Clubs provide retirees and semi-retirees with the opportunity to make new friends, enjoy outings, and participate in a wide range of activities.
Probus is not-for-profit and non-fundraising. There are 1400 Probus Clubs in Australia. Each one operates solely as a social club to keep retirees physically, mentally and socially active. There is a small once-off joining fee to cover the cost for your name badge and other administration costs and each Club determines its own Members' Fees which cover specific insurances of the Clubs, administrative support by PSPL and the monthly rental of their venue (and sometimes morning tea).
Probus Clubs have monthly meetings with fascinating guest speakers, interest groups that get together between meetings, regular outings and activities, day trips and even holidays.
Probus Clubs are all about having Fun and making new Friendships in Retirement.
