An update from Port Stephens

The Probus Club of Port Stephens has a lot to be happy about at the moment.
The membership base is still increasing steadily with Mike and Robyn Pierpoint being inducted at the March meeting. The club hardly goes a month without an induction and we would welcome singles and couples who are retired or semi-retired to come to a meeting. Guest speakers are always interesting at the meetings and lots of varied activities ongoing. Something for everyone.
The Annual General Meeting was held this month and at the Changeover Lunch President George Hammond was formally presented with his Life Membership Medal and Certificate by Vice Presidents Ron and Leon. A very worthy recipient.
President George resplendent in his red shoes then proceeded to introduce the incoming committee and in keeping with tradition, George’s wife Jenny was presented with a bunch of flowers (see below).
This was very enjoyable occasion with the room decked out in Probus colours.
