Jamison Probus members celebrated Melbourne Cup Day on the lawns of the Canberra Southern Cross Yacht Club, overlooking Lake Burley Griffin.
The photo shows the cheering on of the horses on the old-fashioned silver Boombox radio (centre).
Members wore their fancy Melbourne Cup hats and enjoyed lunch from the Yacht Club's ‘Snapper on the Lake’ fish-and-chip shop.
