Yeppoon club update

First up, Yeppoon Probus is delighted to welcome another member to its club.
President Keith McLaughlan proudly performed the membership induction for his wife Estelle assisted by Membership Director Ted Woodall.
The club also welcomed a guest speaker, Member for Keppel Bruce Young, who presented a highly informative address. He spoke about the running of State Parliament and the complexities of balancing a budget, while maintaining and improving essential services and infrastructure. He also explained how the economic downturn, slowing of the resources sector, drought for those on the land and closing of manufacturing industries, have all contributed a loss of revenue to the government coffers.
