Time to celebrate

Three cheers for the Probus Club of Seaford, which just hit its 30th birthday.

The club celebrated the milestone at Norwood House Mt Eliza last month. It was a formal occasion at which Graeme Begg, Rotary District 9820 Probus Chairman and Les Barber President of Probus Association Victoria and their wives were guests.

An illustrated 16-page booklet of the club’s history was presented to each member and guest. The longest serving member, Jim Schrader, cut the cake and a 30-year certificate was presented to the club by Graeme. There was much happy chatter and a few laughs when recalling some adventures of the thirty years.
