Sausage Sizzle

For several years now The Redcliffe Peninsula Probus Club have joined the Everton Club for a Sausage Sizzle at Bullocky’s Rest, a lovely spot on the banks of the Pine River Dam.
This is always a great morning with lots of inter – action between the members of the 2 Clubs, good food and the opportunity to exchange ideas and take part in the traditional Trivia program where some pretty tough questions are asked and plenty of chocolates are won. Inter – Club activities hard at work.
The Club also has their own Annual BBQ in October to which they invited the President of the nearby Pine Rivers Club Barry George who was immediately put to work cooking sausages by the clubs Vice President Barry Davis, although he appears to be having a break in the photo.
The Club also recently organised their first big night-out for some time where members were taken to the Roma Street Gardens at dusk for the entrée, then on to the Greek Club for the main course where they were greeted enthusiastically by the restaurant manager for the main course and then on to Mt Cootha for dessert. What a sight at night. Members were also treated to a thunderstorm to make it all the more impressive.
