30th anniversary luncheon

After a fascinating pre-luncheon visit to the University of Wollongong’s Innovation Campus, the Keira Probus Club in had a most enjoyable 30th anniversary luncheon.
President John Bremner welcomed a large gathering of members and guests, including two foundation year members, to the luncheon at the Seacliff Restaurant overlooking the beautiful North Wollongong beach.
A highlight was the presentation of a life membership certificate to Doug Quiggin for his exceptional service to the club over many years. Flowers were also presented to Betty Quiggin in thanks for all her support particularly on the bus tours.
Although not able to attend, foundation president and life member Herb Epps also conveyed his best wishes for the luncheon and the club.
