The wheels on the bus
15 Dec 2015
Members from Centenary Suburbs Probus Club in Brisbane recently boarded a tour bus at Mount Ommaney for a three-day tour of Stanthorpe.
After a delicious morning tea at Bestbrook Resort near Cunningham’s Gap, we drove to Stanthorpe where we spent the rest of our tour sampling the delights of the Stanthorpe region. Needless to say, the local economy received quite a boost, attested by the amount of parcels loaded on to the bus for the return journey.
Thanks to our friendly and very competent tour guide, Allan, we enjoyed a diverse range of sightseeing and visits to local business activities in the area. We all enjoyed the camaraderie and laughter, and agreed it was a great three days of wining, dining and, of course, shopping.
